What will the National Pilgrimage feel like?
|
A pilgrimage is intentional, disruptive, and spacious. You can't fit it into your life — you have to step out of it. For four weeks, you'll hold the questions of your own life alongside the big questions of the nation:
What does our 250th birthday bring up for you? What would it take for this country to be a great place to raise children? What does our purpose mean today? What do we owe each other? What kind of country do we want to leave to future generations? Each day has a rhythm: an optional morning hike or yoga at 7am, breakfast together, a check-in on what we're learning and feeling, then a local activity or on the road by 9am. Evenings are for shared meals, meeting folks in the community and asking the BIG questions. We'll camp together (RV options available), cook together, and share our journey with our communities at home via social media. We stay connected on the road via a shared WhatsApp group, playlists, and podcasts. When deeper personal work calls, we will make room for it. This pilgrimage is a container for both individual and national transformation. |
